30 high-pressure ST mode

The maximum pressure of a non-invasive cpap is usually a 30 cm water column, so this cpap is a high-pressure type of non-invasive cpap. The reason is that even if a patient with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease develops later in life. Very few patients have a pressure requirement above 30 cm water column. Hence, the likelihood of a later change is low.

In addition to the pressure of 30, this cpap is a standard ST mode cpap, the current mainstream bi-level fixed pressure cpap configuration. This cpap belongs to the 30 pressure in a slightly cheaper model. The current price is more than 9,000 yuan, with no very bright features, but also affordable for this price.

Target tidal volume guarantee

One of the features of this cpap is the target tidal volume guarantee function. As this machine is primarily used by patients with respiratory failure, the mainstream is to use the ST mode. The pressure is constant after the ST mode is adjusted, but the patient's condition will change.

So the target tidal volume guarantee function of this machine. When the target tidal volume is lower than the set, the CPAP will actively increase the pressure support to improve the patient's tidal volume.

Optional oximetry probe wireless module

If you are on a budget, an additional configuration can be added to this machine: an oximetry probe and a wireless data transmission module. These two functions are provided by a single device, which provides both the oximetry function and the wireless data transmission.

The so-called oximetry function is to have an oximetry clip attached to the fingertip. And the other end is connected to the machine. So fluctuations in the patient's blood oxygen can be recorded and viewed in real-time. This probe module is an optional accessory on low-end devices. Still, it is generally included with high-end machines of this type. Later on, this accessory can be used to view data and blood oxygen conditions in real time, which is beneficial for data tracking some patients.

The wireless transmission function allows the patient's daily use data to be sent to the manufacturer's backend server through this module. So the patient's use can be viewed through the mobile phone, such as mask leakage, use time, and other data.

Differences from the Y-30T

The main difference is that the TV of the Y series cpap is 3.5", while the U series cpap is 2.4". Otherwise, the difference is not significant. A few U-30T machines are currently for sale, including online brick-and-mortar shops, and sellers generally prefer to sell Y-30T machines. Hence, the channels for buying this machine are not as convenient as the Y-30T.
